When I saw Klickity online and the products they create, I was immediately excited. Their products are so unbelievably cool, fun and contemporary. They are the kind of company that think outside the box. They are not constrained by boundaries and come up with unique and exciting ways of designing in a creative and sustainable way. Their Fanfare Wall Clock is flat packed and then the customer gets to fan out the clock in the way they want it to look. In a similar vein is their Klip Notice Board. The hexagon shape of each piece allows the customer to arrange it in whatever way they feel suits them.
The reuse and recycle generation is well and truly upon us and Klickity are definitely following suit. Their Light Tin is made from old consumer food tins and comes in three colours, red, yellow and blue. These guys also have a sense of humour about their work as you can identify in their 3-D light which is made up of used 3-D glasses. The result of which is both a retro and contemporary piece that is also utterly humorous and fascinating.
They have also designed the genius Scribble Box. This is a stackable, customisable set of cardboard boxes. This allows the user to decorate and create their very own personalised place to put all your clutter from your desk or dressing table etc. This is an exceptionally clever idea and I think that any creative person out there will soon realise that this is the thing they never knew they needed!
